We believe in complete data ownership. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account, authentication tokens, and all recorded habitat care history.
Option 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)
You can instantly and permanently erase your account directly within the Loom iOS app:
- Open the Loom app on your iOS device.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your profile, habitat telemetry, and database records will be erased immediately.
Option 2: Email Deletion Request
If you no longer have access to the iOS application, you can submit a manual deletion request by sending an email from your registered account email:

Account Deletion Request - Information to Include: Your registered account email or moniker.
Our team will process your deletion request and confirm data erasure within 48 hours.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently purged from our servers:
- Authentication profile and user credentials
- Habitat telemetry, setup details, and microclimate rules
- Care history, completion checkboxes, and streak counters
- Uploaded diagnosis photos and vision logs
Note on Apple Subscriptions: Deleting your Loom account does not automatically cancel active Apple App Store subscriptions. Please cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to prevent future billing by Apple.
